Back by popular demand! —An unforgettable celebration of the life, music, and legacy of Quincy Jones, featuring the Quincy Jones Square Celebration Orchestra and 10-time Grammy Award–winning guest artist Alvin Chea of Take 6. From Count Basie to Michael Jackson, this dynamic production journeys through some of the most influential music of the 20th century—spanning jazz, soul, pop, and film.
Led by acclaimed trumpeter, bandleader, and producer Bobby Medina, For the Love of Quincy! is more than a tribute concert; it’s a powerful celebration of Quincy Jones’ lasting cultural impact and his ability to connect generations through music.

Quincy Jones often credited Bremerton as the place where "music discovered him". Moving here at age 10 during the WWII boom, his father worked as a carpenter at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, On a fateful night at the Bremerton Armory, 11-year-old Quincy, looking for snacks with friends, stumbled upon an upright piano. He famously recalled that touching those keys made "every cell in my body and every drop of blood" realize music was his life's calling. Today, that legacy is physically anchored in downtown Bremerton at the newly opened Quincy Square, a cultural hub designed to inspire the next generation of artists just as the city once inspired him.
